Morocco’s Attijariwafa Bank and Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP), alongside Egypt’s International Commercial Bank, have made it onto the Global 2000 ranking of the world’s largest publicly traded companies for 2025. A total of 17 African companies made the list; South Africa dominating with 14 companies. Attijariwafa Bank ranked 979th globally with new gains of $956 M and BCP coming in 1,812th. with $416.9 M in new gains.
