U.S. may deport migrants to Libya this week

The Trump administration may deport migrants to Libya for the first time as early as Wednesday, three U.S. officials said Tuesday, expanding its immigration crackdown despite past U.S. criticism of Libya's detainee abuses. Two officials said military flights could begin soon but noted plans may shift. The Pentagon deferred questions to the White House, which did not immediately comment. The State Department and Homeland Security also did not respond.
