Morocco’s Minister of Energy Transition Leila Benali has told the Moroccan Parliament that the United Arab Emirates, as well as the European Investment Bank (EIB), the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the OPEC Fund have agreed to contribute investment into the landmark energy project. Last week Nigeria’s Finance Minister Wale Edun also noted that the United States had expressed interest in investing in the gas pipeline project.
