The African Development Bank Group has approved a $30 million trade finance facility for the Générale de Banque de Mauritanie
Trade between Morocco and the UK reached £3.8 billion (MAD 48.25 billion) in the year to Q2 2024, a 10.9% rise from 2023, per UK data. UK exports to Morocco fell 4.1% to £1.4 billion (MAD 17.77 billion), while imports from Morocco totaled £2.4 billion (MAD 30.47 billion), comprising 0.2% of UK trade. The figures reflect strengthening trade ties despite export declines, highlighting the growing significance of Moroccan goods in the UK market.
