Trade between the UK and Tunisia rose 20% in 2024 to nearly £750 million, UK Ambassador Roderick Drummond told TAP, citing stronger ties under the 2021 UK-Tunisia Association Agreement. The deal offers preferential tariffs and market access, with both sides reviewing terms to boost efficiency, particularly in agriculture. Talks focus on expanding Tunisian olive oil exports and UK agri-business investments. A revised agreement is expected within months, Drummond said.
