United Airlines launches New York-Marrakech flight

United has launched direct flights from Newark to Marrakech, becoming the first US carrier to serve the famous Moroccan city. It is also a first by an American airline to Morocco and North Africa. The new direct route is launched in partnership with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), as part of a strategy to enhance the American market, with the eventual aim of attracting one million American tourists every year.
