Egyptian will airdrop almost 7 tons of humanitarian aid over the Jabalya refugee camp in Gaza, according to Egypt’s al Qahera news channel, citing an unnamed “informed” source. The same source added that the UAE and Jordan will join Egypt in resuming airdrops Saturday.

Gharib Abdel Hafez, spokesman for the Egyptian Armed Forces, said Thursday that Egypt and the UAE are continuing their joint efforts to airdrop tons of humanitarian aid into the northern part of Gaza. The aid includes large quantities of food, medicine, and other urgent supplies, he added.

Abdel Hafez went on to say that Egypt dropped 50 tons of aid over northern and central Gaza Tuesday.
