Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, held talks Monday with the Chief of Staff of the Algerian People’s National Army, Major General Said Chanegriha, according to Qatar’s state news agency QNA. The Algerian delegation were in Doha to attend the 8th Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2024). Discussions reportedly covered shared interests and ways to increase military cooperation between Qatar and Algeria.
