Algeria to send 150 tons of humanitarian aid to war torn Gaza

In response to the ongoing Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip, Algeria is set to dispatch 150 tons of humanitarian aid, the Algerian Red Crescent Society announced.

The aid, consisting of eight military aircraft shipments from Blida, will be directed to Egypt's El-Arish Airport, near the Palestinian enclave.

The aid shipments “reflect Algeria’s commitment to unconditional and unlimited solidarity with the Palestinian people, who are facing a non-stop aggression, particularly in the Gaza Strip, by the occupying forces under an unjust siege,” said the society.
