A recent official poll conducted by Morocco's High Commission for Planning (HCP) revealed that 42.1% of Moroccan families had to borrow money to cover day-to-day expenses in the second quarter of this year.
The poll also found that while 55.8% of families believe their income is sufficient to meet their needs.
The survey also highlighted a broader economic challenge, with nearly 83% of families reporting a decline in their standard of living over the past year.
