At the opening of the Marrakech Air Show, Morocco signed an MoU with Brazilian manufacturer Embraer to develop cooperation in commercial aviation, defense, and urban air mobility. It is all part of Morocco’s ongoing efforts to double employment in its aerospace sector by 2030. The MoU will alsohelp build an integrated supply and sourcing ecosystem in Morocco. Once completed, the projects’ potential economic impact is expected to reach $300 million. The initiative aims to create 300 jobs by 2030 and up to $1 billion and the creation of 1,000 jobs by 2035.
