American and Israeli officials have reached out to leaders from Sudan, Somalia, and Somaliland about relocating Palestinians from Gaza as part of President Trump’s controversial postwar plan, according to AP. The proposal, aiming to settle displaced Palestinians in these impoverished and sometimes unstable regions, has sparked widespread condemnation for its legal and moral implications. Sudan has declined the overtures, whereas Somalia and Somaliland have denied any such contacts.
