Morocco tourism surges 19% in first half of 2025

According to the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the first mpox vaccines are expected to arrive in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in the coming days. WHO declared its highest level of global health alert on August 14th after seeing a resurgence of mpox in Africa, affecting the DRC and other countries on the continent, including Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda, along with the emergence of a new variant (1b).
