Morocco’s National Tourism Office (ONMT) has signed a five-year partnership with travel operator TripAdvisor, with the aim of doubling overnight stays from the current 2.6 million to 5.3 million by 2029. According to an ONMT press release "this is a first, which will boost tourism promotion in Morocco thanks to the power of the platform and its notoriety all over the world”. Adel El Fakir, CEO of ONMT signed the partnership agreement with TripAdvisor’s CEP Matt Goldberg, with the Moroccan national tourism office describing the deal as “unprecedented.”
