The Pentagon has released Ridah Bin Saleh al-Yazidi, one of Guantanamo Bay’s longest-held detainees, to Tunisia, officials confirmed Monday night. Al-Yazidi, detained without charge since January 2002, became known from a widely recognized photograph at Camp X-Ray. His release is part of several recent transfers, including three detainees to Kenya and Malaysia.
